Our customer, a manufacturer of safety equipment specialty batteries, requested Sunshine AUTOMATION & TOOLING to unload trays filled with 2000 cathodes each, inspect each cathode to guarantee the wire is attached & transfer only good ones to a case one at a time.

We provided a fully automatic unloader with an inspection system & case loader as a solution for them.

Special considerations included:

• Absolutely no damage could be sustained to the cathode or wire
• Cases to receive good cathodes were previously loaded
• Wire detection & rejection a must for cathode functionality
